How we help

A corporation's tax return is only as good as the bookkeeping and planning behind it. We prepare T2 returns for Ontario corporations and use year-end to make sure you are claiming the small business deduction, deducting what you can and paying yourself in a tax-efficient way.

Our corporate tax work covers federal and Ontario returns, GST/HST reconciliation, shareholder loan reviews and dividend and salary planning. We prepare the financial statements the return needs, so you deal with one team from start to finish.

We also file T2 returns for inactive and new corporations, including the first return after incorporation.

Corporate tax FAQ

Answers to common questions in Ontario.

When is my corporate tax return due?

A T2 return is due six months after your fiscal year-end. Any tax owing is generally due two months after year-end, or three months for eligible Canadian-controlled private corporations. Late filing penalties apply, so it pays to plan early.

Do I need to file a T2 if my corporation is inactive?

Yes. Every corporation resident in Canada must file a T2 each year, even if it had no revenue or activity. We can prepare nil returns so you stay in good standing.

Can you help me pay myself tax-efficiently?

Yes. We review salary, dividends and shareholder loans against your personal situation and recommend a mix that fits your cash needs and tax position.

How much do corporate tax services cost?

Fees depend on the scope and complexity of your situation. After a free consultation we give you a clear quote before any work begins.

Do you provide corporate tax outside Toronto?

Yes. We serve Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville and the wider GTA, and we work with clients across Canada by phone, video and secure online document sharing. Call (647) 527-4970 to get started.
